Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) or cellulose gum is a cellulose derivative with carboxymethyl groups (-CH2-COOH) bound to some of the hydroxyl groups of the glucopyranose monomers that make up the cellulose backbone. It is often used as its sodium salt, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose.  

It is one of the most important ionic cellulose gum with the nickname of “industrial monosodium glutamate”. CMC cellulose gum has a macromolecular structure and various physical and chemical properties, such as binding, emulsifying, suspending, fluid loss, etc. It doesn’t ferment and featured by salt tolerance heat endurance. So different grades of CMC are used in different industries, such as food, oil drilling, paper-making, pharmaceutical, daily chemicals, textile & dyeing and so on.

The main raw materials to produce carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) include refined cotton, caustic soda, chloroacetic acid, and edible ethanol. 

The standard package is 25kg/kraft paper bag. We also can supply 20kg/bag or 750kg/jumbo bag.  If you want other package and marks, we can customize it.
